Promotion to Ninth Dan

After 50 years and a life-long dedication to martial arts, Mr. Shoffit was honored with the rank and title of 9th Dan, Grandmaster. The recognition comes from a truly prestigious and internationally significant group, the Korean Bulgyo Mu Sool Association. There is a considerable history of Hapkido regarding this organization, and after decades of training in different styles/systems thus receiving dan rank in over eight of them, one quote always came to mind:
