Wednesday Workout

What is it?

To help compliment the true essence of Shin-Toshi training, this 2-hour class will consist of 60 minutes stand-up including principles of Boxing, Mauy Thai, Karate, Judo and Vale-Tudo.  We will also hold a 60 minute session of Ground Fighting including No-Gi Jujitsu, Russian Sambo and submission wrestling. 

Who can attend?

This class if free to all Shin-Toshi students including beginner white belts.  This class is designed to add to the foundation you receive in your training and to sweat.  This class is also available during the two-week free introductory period for new students.

Who is the instructor?

This class will be taught by Shin-Toshi’s first Mixed Martial Arts and No Holds Barred fighter, Chris Klein.  Chris is a 1st degree black belt with 16 years experience.  He is currently a Dallas Police Officer with first-hand street experience in self defense.  2007 will mark his 3rd year on the fight circuit.  He is the newest member of Team Hicks out of Lewisville, TX.

How do I sign up?

If you are interested, call the studio after 4pm to make an appointment to complete a waiver.

What do I need to bring? 

§       Mouthpiece

§       Groin protection

§       Shorts

§       Boxing Gloves*

§       Muy thai shin guards*

§       Extra t-shirt

§       Gi (may be needed for some classes)*
